ExploreFrom Knowledge to Impact: Connecting People, Projects and Ecosystems
On 21 October 2026, the Croation innovation agency RISE, a member of the EURICE Group, will host the event “From Knowledge to Impact: Connecting People, Projects and Ecosystems” in Zagreb, Croatia.
The half-day gathering brings together researchers, research managers, technology transfer professionals, innovation support organisations, industry representatives and policymakers from Croatia and across Europe. Its central idea is simple: excellent research and promising ideas do not create impact on their own. They need the right people, pathways, support structures and connections.
The programme explores different pathways to knowledge valorisation, the role of support organisations and innovation ecosystems, and the power of collaboration in turning research results into real-world outcomes. It will also connect European initiatives including KnowVaLte and ALL4KV and provide space for practical exchange and networking.
Future8 will contribute to the session “Connecting People: The Power of Collaboration”, sharing perspectives on how collaboration across institutions, projects and regions can strengthen innovation ecosystems and accelerate the journey from knowledge to impact.
